Internal lubricants are essential additives in PVC processing, as they play a crucial role in reducing frictional forces between PVC molecule chains, resulting in lower melt viscosity. Being polar in nature, they exhibit high compatibility with PVC, ensuring effective dispersion throughout the material.
One of the notable benefits of internal lubricants is their ability to maintain excellent transparency even at high dosages. This transparency is highly desirable in applications where visual clarity is essential, such as in transparent packaging materials or optical lenses.
Another advantage is that internal lubricants do not tend to exudate or migrate to the surface of the PVC product. This non-exudation property ensures the optimized welding, gluing, and printing properties of the final product.
